I started this quilt in a class with Betty Alofs. The design came from
the
book, "Diamond Quilts" by Jan Krentz.

New York Beauty Quilt
This quilt was made with the New York
Beauty Book by Karen Stone.
It is all paper foundation pieced. There are 30 blocks. She also has
a
border supplement, but I drew my own. Machine pieced and quilted.

Storm
At Sea
This is my storm at sea made with
templates.
It is machine pieced, and machine quilted.
Life's a Beach
I made this quilt for my friend Sharon's new "grandson to be" Preston. Her
daughter Joleen decorated the baby's room with this wall paper border
of a
beach scene. When I couldn't find any fabrics with volkswagons or
surf boards, I decided to print the wallpaper border design from
my computer
onto fabric and then constructed the blocks around them. This quilt
is approx.
44x54. It is machine pieced and quilted. Made in September 2004.

Using Thimbleberries Quilter's Garden Panels
I made four 12" 9-patch blocks and then used
lattices and a sawtooth border. Pattern also available.
Garden Twist Wall Quilt
This is the Garden Twist wallhanging pattern
and fabric put out by "In The Beginning".
It was machine pieced and quilted in October 2002
"My Heart's Content"
This is my first (and only)
applique quilt. It took me about 6 months in1994.
Hand Appliqued and Hand Quilted. The pattern is from the book
"Red & Green Applique" by Jeana Kimball. It is 52" square.
"Airplane
Quilt"
I made this quilt in January 2001
for my husband Jim who is a private pilot.
It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The Mariner's Compass is paper
pieced. Both of the block patterns are from the "Fat
Quarter Friendly" Book. This quilt is about 45" square.
"My
Garden Quilt"
I made this wall hanging quilt
in1996 after being inspired by Gai Perry's
demonstration at a local quilt show. I usedher book "Impressionist
Quilts".
It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It is about 42" square.
"When
you wish upon a star..."
I made this quilt for my daughter Alyssa for
her high school graduation in 1998.
It is machine pieced and hand quilted. I found this quilt in "American
Country Scrap Quilts"
by Fons and Porter. It is a lap sized quilt.
"Reach for the stars"
I made this quilt for my son Matthew for his high school graduation
in1996.
He had also just earned his Eagle Scout Award.
It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It is a twin sized quilt.
